He is married to his wife Dolly and they have 3 children with whom they love to spend every possible minute with! Shoby and his family are grateful for being at Sugar Creek Baptist Church where they have been privileged to be involved in great relationships and opportunities to serve others. He also enjoys being on mission locally and globally. In 2010, he, along with some other passionate folks, co-founded Sparrow International Family Ministries (formerly Orphan Hope International). Sparrow lovingly serves orphans, vulnerable children and their families through key partnerships in Colombia, South America using mission trips, sponsorship and safe-houses.

In addition to serving Freedom Church Alliance currently as VP and treasurer, Shoby is is currently one of the principals of Clear Sky Group, LLC, a regional technology services company. During the last 14 years, Shoby has focused much of his time helping to grow his business into a leading regional provider of information technology management and consulting services to small and medium sized companies. He is an entrepreneur at heart and sees business as mission. Shoby most often sees the world (and people) through optimistic lenses always looking for new opportunities to build relationships with people whenever and wherever possible. His love of mercy and justice for the oppressed and enslaved is the impetus behind his involvement with Freedom Church Alliance.
